Our production activities

In all our activities and work the keyword “Skåne'' is central. It is our job to make sure that the film and moving images industry in our region can prosper and grow, while simultaneously ensuring that artistically interesting films are being produced in Skåne.

We strive to make sure that regional talent is nurtured and given a chance to develop. With these goals in sight, we shape our activities around film production - including talent development, running Ystad Studios and producing major TV series, shorts, documentaries and feature films.

Talent development and programmes

At Film i Skåne we work on talent development, focusing on the filmmakers themselves. We strive to tailor our efforts to individual needs, to gain maximal effect.

Film i Skåne as co-producer

Film i Skåne operates as a co-producer of film and TV productions, and as such lays claim to film rights and revenue from the projects we participate in. We also require that expenditure be made within the region and that we be allowed creative input in the projects we fund.
