Film i Skåne works to ensure that films can be seen, created and discussed throughout Skåne. We collaborate with various organisations and co-finance film festivals and events to strengthen the regional film industry and cultural life.
Film in Skåne plays a central role in ensuring that films can be seen, created and discussed throughout Skåne. It is important for both accessibility and democracy.
We are a resource for municipalities in their work with film and moving images and collaborate with libraries, museums, cinemas, cultural schools, festivals, screening organizers, study associations and organizations.
We co-finance film festivals, events and industry forums that strengthen both the regional film industry and local cultural life. Several of the film festivals and venues we are involved in are of national and international importance.
In addition, we run networks where different parties meet around common issues and needs, such as CineSkåne and CineSyd.
